Just when I thought things were under control, their systems went offline again today. I was on our server (which was almost full), and all of a sudden - black screen, then back to the Main game screen. I checked BFBC2CC, and every person was gone off our server at the same time.
I tried logging back in to the game login, and was not able to connect. After trying for about 10 minutes, I just gave up.
"Well, we all expected a lot since we've been waiting for this since BF2 and BF2142. However, even though they say this isn't a console port...it is. There is no Commander mode like on BF2 and BF2142 and no going prone. Even crouching has to be done by holding a key down - very tough to do for any length of time!"
Reading some reviews on the game. I hope 1943 has ships and planes. One of the lessons of history is that nothing is often a good thing to do and always a clever thing to say.
In case anyone noticed a service interruption today, our server was being updated, not to worry. This is the email I received.
All BFBC2 servers have now been updated to R6. This build is suppose to fix Punkbuster kicks so you can now set PB back to ON if you like. This build also fixed the issue some were having with the wrong IP and/or port being seen by PB streaming.
You may do as you like with your BFBC2 servers now. TY you for your patience.
not haveing prone sucks but you can manage just makes your finger hurt sooner However I DON'T miss the Dolphin-diving at all now everyone does the bunny-hop....:(
